Have you tried Candyfetti from Sweets Indeed yet? Well…if you haven’t you are missing out! It’s sweet and sour, crunchy and chewy. Perfect to eat on it’s own or to sprinkle on cupcakes, ice cream, pancakes…anything your little heart desires really.
We used Candyfetti to make mini trifles for our upcoming Valentine’s Day party! And let me tell you, they were a hit by our taste testers! You can make them too, just follow the recipe below:
- Plastic shot glasses
- Cute spoons
- Box of cake mix
I use the term “trifle” pretty loosely. If you want to make a traditional trifle you could add custard and fruit, but since these cups are so small I just used frosting! Make the cake according to the directions. Once you take it out of the oven and let it cool, cut the cake in half length wise.
Using a shot glass cut out cake circles.
Place a dollop of frosting in the bottom of a clean shot glass and then sprinkle on some Candyfetti.
Place a cake circle on top then add more frosting and Candyfetti.
Repeat the above steps one more time…
That’s it! So cute, so yummy and so easy!

When the leaves change and the rain comes I feel like baking! Whether you’re a baker or prefer to leave it to the professionals, who doesn’t like to enjoy some sweet treats on a brisk autumn day? Well, we are over the moon excited to have Delectable Baked Goods at Fancy That on October 8th! She’ll be sampling her amazing goodies from 11 to 3 and taking pre-orders for Halloween Cookie Kits!
Speaking of Halloween Cookie Kits, we were lucky enough to get to test them out! My kids absolutely loved them! They had so much fun frosting and decorating the cookies with all the different sprinkles. Oh and they tasted really good too!
Here’s what you get:
- 1 box of 12 vanilla almond sugar cookies in fun Halloween shapes
- 1 box of decorating supplies
- 2 containers of buttercream frosting
- 4 containers of Halloween themed sprinkles
So, first things first. Sample all of the containers by sticking your fingers in them and taking a lick, then frost.
Next, get a sampling of sprinkles…
Then place said sprinkles ever so gently on cookies.
Aren’t they pretty? Clearly my children like sprinkles.
Kid tested, kid approved! This one’s already got a sugar high. I might have nibbled on a cookie…or two.
How perfect would these kits be for a Halloween party? Paired with some of Fancy That’s scary cute Halloween decor, the kids will be screaming…joyfully!
So don’t forget to stop by Fancy That on October 8th from 11 to 3 to grab yourself some frightfully good treats!
