Brunch Gift Box Ideas

brunch so hard

Brunch is always a good idea! Sleeping late and indulging in all my breakfast favorites. Brunch is especially fun with friends and when there’s champagne involved! Am I right?

Looking for a perfect gift for the brunch lover in your life? I’ve pulled together two brunch themed gift boxes to get the party started.

This rise and shine gift box is for anyone who loves to brunch, but first, must have coffee!  I love this darling coffee mug. Whether it’s a “champagne for breakfast” kind of day or not, this mug makes a sparkly statement. Pair it with sleepy head hazelnut coffee to get the morning up and running. A rise and shine shower burst delivers eye opening aromatherapy of tangerine and mint right to your shower. It’s the perfect pick me up before hittin’ the brunch table. Toss in a fun sparkler card, a few champagne truffles and a metallic bottle stopper to make your brunch box complete!

Need a gift for that hardcore bruncher who doesn’t mess around?  Wake up and pop the bubbly!  This brunch box has everything you need to kick your brunch into high gear.  It has two super cute champagne flutes that say, “champagne for breakfast” and “mornings are for mimosas”.  Fun rose gold straws for sipping and a metallic bottle stopper are a must.  Don’t forget the corkscrew that says “brunch so hard”.  A brunch staple for sure!  To make your gift extra festive, add in some champagne and pink bubbly truffles, a rise and shine shower burst and a mini sparkler to celebrate how fantastic brunch is!  Oh how I’d love to get a brunch box like this!  Would’t you?

Next time you’re ready to brunch so hard, stop by Fancy That and stock up on the essentials. We’d love to help you pull together one of these fantastic brunch gift boxes too!

Cheers,

Angela

Christmas Brunch Ideas

It’s almost Christmas!  I love this time of year – the smells, the decorations, the cheer!  What I love most is getting together with family and friends, sipping on bubbly, and eating treats 🙂  My first holiday celebration was with the Fancy tribe!

We started off the celebration with some mimosas, mini donuts and cake.

Holiday Brunch Ideas

Mini is all the rage right now! I used my mini donut maker to make these cute donuts.  I whipped up some boxed cake mix and poured the batter into the donut maker.  So easy! I used sprinkles that I had left over from Delectable’s holiday cookie kits (did you order yours yet?)!  The cake came from Trader Joe’s – it’s their coffee cream panettone.  It’s to die for and it’s wrapped like a present.  What’s not to love about that?!

Mini Donuts

It’s not a party without champagne!  If you add juice to booze it makes it totally acceptable to start drinking before noon, just FYI 🙂 For our mimosas we had orange juice and a mixed berry juice.  So good!  Oh and we decorated the bottle with confetti, cuz that’s how we roll.

Confetti Champagne

Each place setting had a little treat box filled with chocolate.  Aren’t these plates and napkins so chic? I love how they come in all different colors and the gold detailing is on point!  Find the collection here!

Balloon garlands! Way cooler than streamers (sorry streamers). And they are so easy to put together.  There are 50 balloons pictured here.  These seriously add so much fun and fancy to the party.  Fancy That sells them in sets of 20 of a single color – so you can mix and match!  Find them here!

I’m so thankful for these wonderful ladies!  Aren’t we cute? lol

Happy Holidays!

Oh and we ate real food too, like eggs and stuff, in case you were wondering 🙂

Apple Cider Doughnuts and Drinking Chocolate

Fall is here! Oh, how I love fall…and donuts (doughnuts?)…and hot chocolate. So, you can imagine my excitement when Fancy That got Stonewall Kitchen’s Apple Cider Doughnut Mix and Treehouse Chocolate’s CAMP Drinking Chocolate in the shop! I knew it was my duty to taste test these products – it’s a hard job, but someone’s got to do it, right?

The apple cider doughnut’s were so easy! If you want to make them according to the directions on the box you will need a doughnut pan. Unfortunately, I do not own a doughnut pan (how, with my love of doughnut’s, do I not own a doughnut pan?! I’ve added it to my Christmas wish list. Anyway…). So, I improvised and made doughnut holes and instead of baking them I fried them. Doughnut holes are all the rage now anyway you know.

Okay, let’s get started! Here is what you’ll need.

For the mix you'll need an egg, butter, and milk.

To fry the donuts you'll need oil, a pot, a small ice cream scoop or 2 spoons, and a thermometer.
To fry the doughnuts you’ll need oil, a pot, a small ice cream scoop (or 2 spoons), and a thermometer.

First you’ll want to start heating your oil. Pour about 2 inches of oil in a medium pot. Heat the oil to 350 degrees.

To make the doughnut batter follow the directions on the back of the box.

Use a thermometer to check the temperature of the oil. Once it’s hot enough drop in a test scoop of batter. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.

Take the doughnut out and cut it in half to make sure it’s cooked all the way through. Adjust your cook time accordingly. If the doughnuts are browning to fast, lower the oil temperature.

Place the cooked doughnuts on a paper towel lined plate.

Once you’ve cooked all the doughnuts open the packet of cinnamon sugar and pour in a bowl. Roll the doughnut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve ASAP (or before you eat them all – remember sharing is caring)!

These doughnuts are so so so so good! The cinnamon sugar even has an apple cider spice to it. Seriously, so good. Did I mention how good these are?!

If you really feel like indulging pick up a couple packs of Treehouse Chocolate’s CAMP Drinking Chocolate. There are several other flavors available at Fancy That too! The one I had was like a super delicious mocha! Add a dollop of fresh whipped cream and you will be in creamy chocolate heaven!

Doughnuts and chocolate are perfect for breakfast, brunch, dessert, a snack…

Really, when aren’t doughnuts and chocolate perfect to eat?

They’re also the perfect gift! Stonewall’s Apple Cider Doughnut Mix, two packs of Treehouse Chocolate’s CAMP Drinking Chocolate and 2 fancy mugs – whoever you gift that to will totally be your BFF! I know I would!
