I will be the first to admit that summer is my favorite season of the year. If it wasn’t for all the cute fall decorations and super yummy pumpkin-flavored things, I would seriously go into fall kicking and screaming. So, this year when fall reared its head yet again, I needed my pumpkin fix quick! And, just like magic our latest shipment from Seattle Chocolates arrived with their seasonal truffle flavor, Pumpkin Spice. Ahh, I was seriously giddy! I quickly scooped up a handful of truffles along with our new ‘eek’ air filled balloon, and a chai tea candle. Before I knew it, I was enjoying all my favorite things about fall – cute decor, delicious pumpkin goodies and my favorite smells – and reminded that each season has its highlights.

When the leaves change and the rain comes I feel like baking! Whether you’re a baker or prefer to leave it to the professionals, who doesn’t like to enjoy some sweet treats on a brisk autumn day? Well, we are over the moon excited to have Delectable Baked Goods at Fancy That on October 8th! She’ll be sampling her amazing goodies from 11 to 3 and taking pre-orders for Halloween Cookie Kits!
Speaking of Halloween Cookie Kits, we were lucky enough to get to test them out! My kids absolutely loved them! They had so much fun frosting and decorating the cookies with all the different sprinkles. Oh and they tasted really good too!
Here’s what you get:
1 box of 12 vanilla almond sugar cookies in fun Halloween shapes
1 box of decorating supplies
2 containers of buttercream frosting
4 containers of Halloween themed sprinkles
So, first things first. Sample all of the containers by sticking your fingers in them and taking a lick, then frost.
Next, get a sampling of sprinkles…
Then place said sprinkles ever so gently on cookies.
Aren’t they pretty? Clearly my children like sprinkles.
Kid tested, kid approved! This one’s already got a sugar high. I might have nibbled on a cookie…or two.
How perfect would these kits be for a Halloween party? Paired with some of Fancy That’s scary cute Halloween decor, the kids will be screaming…joyfully!
So don’t forget to stop by Fancy That on October 8th from 11 to 3 to grab yourself some frightfully good treats!
